United Kingdom Track and Field All-Time Lists

OCEANIA CHAMPIONSHIPS

The biennial Oceania Championships were first held in 1990. In 1990, 1996 & 1998 the event was only open to IAAF members, hence French overseas territories in the South Pacific were unable to compete (except as guests). In 2000 the event became an open championships allowing athletes from outside of Oceania to take part as guests too. Australia and New Zealand have only entered regional, development or under 23 teams to date. Junior events were included on the programme from 1994 to 1998 however were dropped when the championships merged with the Oceania Youth Championships in 2000.
