The multi-sport Orient Olympic Games were first held in 1913 and retitled the Far East Championships in 1915. China, Japan and the Philippines were the only nations to contest the early meetings, with India entering in 1930 and the Dutch East Indies in 1934. The event was discontinued, following a political dispute over the participation of Manchukuo, after the latter date. Only men's events were included on the programme. List of medallists courtesy of Børre Lilloe.
