First held in 1988. The event incorporated the BAF Championships of 1992 & 1995-98 and was held in conjunction with the CAU "Inter-Counties" Championships in 1993 and from 1998 onwards.

ENGLISH ("NATIONAL") CROSS COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIPS

The men's championships, organised by the English Cross Country Association (formerly Union), were first held in 1876. The women's championships, first held in 1927, were organised by the Women's Cross Country (& Road Running) Association until 1992. This section lists first three finishers in senior championships and winners of age group championships since 1960.
